Where do you ship?

We ship to the 48 contiguous US states. For orders to Alaska or Hawaii, you may place the order online, however, we will email you the shipping charge.

Will I be charged tax?

There is no sales tax collected on any order shipped and billed outside of Virginia. Sales tax for orders shipped or billed to Virginia will be added to your sub-total before shipping.

When will my credit card be charged?

Your credit card will be "authorized" once you place your order. The authorization process is not a charge, however, it will verify that your card is not fraudulent. Once we receive notice from the manufacturer that your item is prepared to ship, we will charge your credit card. For special order or made to order items, including items where a specific size, color, finish, fabric or other customization was selected - your credit card will be charged immediately.

What is your shipping charge?

To calculate shipping, add the items you wish to order to your cart and select "checkout". Next, enter your shipping address information in full and select "continue", the shipping cost will show before payment information is entered. Shipping is calculated for ground service to the 48 contiguous US states only.

Some products will show a listed price including shipping also known as " free shipping ". Those particular products will be from specific manufacturers and will show Shipping Included in the description of the product.

How will you ship my furniture?

Products are shipped via FedEx or UPS ground. If an item is too large and/or too heavy to ship via Fed/Ex or UPS it will ship via a Freight Company. Freight Companies usually call in advance to schedule a delivery. The service is a "curb-side delivery" which means the driver is not obligated to unload or carry furniture inside your residence or business. Also, if FedEx, UPS, or the designated freight carrier is unable to deliver the order pursuant to that company's delivery procedures, this order will be subject to the return policy listed below. If you are not home at the designated delivery time of the shipment you will be subject to a re-delivery fee. The customer is responsible for the accuracy of information in their order. If you would like inside delivery, please call us at 804-612-6392 and we can try to arrange it for an additional cost. If you would like your item to ship sooner, please contact us.

What is your warranty policy?

All our products are covered under their manufacturer's warranty and handled by the manufacturer. You are welcome to contact us regarding any questions concerning a warranty policy before you purchase through our company. Warranties vary depending on the manufacturer.

If a product does not state that it is graded for commercial use, it is assumed to be graded for residential use only. If you choose to purchase a residential product and use it commercially, you are doing so at your own risk and will void all product warranties. Customer will indemnify and hold harmless Decor Furniture and the manufacturer from any and all claims, actions, and judgments including all costs of defense and attorney’s fees incurred in defending against the same, arising from and relating to use of product.

What is your cancellation and return policy?

Cancellation Policy:
Please contact us immediately if you need to cancel an order . An order is NOT deemed canceled until you receive a cancelation email from Decor Furniture. If an order has shipped, or is in the process of shipping, it may NOT be cancelled. Our cancellation exceptions include special order items and orders which have already shipped. Special order items include made to order items and items where a specific size, color, finish, fabric or other customization was selected. If your item has already shipped, you will be subject to the return policy noted below. If you refuse receipt of an order, it will be considered a returned order and be subject to our return policy. Also, if FedEx, UPS, or the designated freight carrier is unable to deliver the order pursuant to that company's delivery procedures, this order will be subject to the return policy listed below. The customer is responsible for the accuracy of information in their order.

Return Policy:
Your satisfaction is important to us and we understand that once you receive an item it might not be what you expected. So, if you wish to return or exchange an item you must contact us within 7 days from the date the item was delivered. You will be responsible for round trip shipping costs. If an item was sold with “free shipping”, our outbound shipping cost will be subtracted from your refund. Also, many manufacturers charge a “restocking fee” for returned items. If applicable, this fee will be deducted from your refund once the manufacturer receives the returned merchandise. The exception to our return policy is for Special Order or Made To Order items and specific manufacturers which do not allow returns; including Barcalounger, Coaster, ScreenGems, Bernards, Allessea, and Coaster. Special order items are non-refundable and include made to order items and items where a specific size, color, finish, fabric or other customization was selected.

All returned merchandise must be in original condition, unassembled and must include all original packaging materials and accessories. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns for assembled merchandise. You will need to ship your product to the specified manufacturer address to be provided; prepaid and insured by the manner in which you received it. Please call us to obtain proper return address information.

Items will not be authorized for return after 15 days from the delivery date. Special order products such as items with pre-selected fabrics/finishes/colors are non-refundable. Any "Made to Order" products, as indicated on the product page, are also non-refundable.

What if my order arrives damaged or defective?

Please make sure to inspect the package at the time of the delivery. If there appears to be damage / defect to the item OR the box, please make a note on the delivery paperwork. You may write “product damaged” or "box damaged" on the paperwork. Also, please contact us immediately so we may process your claim. We will need pictures of the product and box.

You are required to inspect your order and ensure all parts are present and arrived in good condition BEFORE you dispose the boxes and packing materials. You must contact us within 48 hours if any item is damaged or defective. Décor Furniture will work with the manufacturer to send replacement parts for any damaged/defective items. If you are unwilling to accept replacement parts and would like to return the item; you will be subject to Decor Furniture's Return Policy as stated above. All returned products MUST be in the original packaging.

We do our best to provide high resolution images of the products we carry to help you make an informed decision. However keep in mind that colors may vary due to monitor model and setting.

Décor Policy for In-Store Purchases

Upon Accepting Delivery or Picking up Your Order

You are responsible for inspecting the product at time of delivery or pickup. In the event you receive damaged merchandise you must make all notations on the receipt to ensure Décor Furniture and Mattress Showplace the right to claim reimbursements. Failure to do so will void all liability to Décor. Only an item that is damaged can be refused and notations must be made on the receipt. All orders must be picked up within two (2) weeks after the customer is informed of the arrival date. Keep in mind that furniture is manmade and some touch up may be required. Product will be repaired or replacement part will be sent. Please notify Décor immediately during the time of deliver in the event that there is damage.

ReturnCancellation Policy-Special Orders

Special Orders are not returnable. All sales are final on Special Ordered items and cannot be cancelled. It is important to ask any questions about an item and make sure the measurements are suitable before placing an order. Any and all special ordered merchandise is not returnable nor will you be able to be credited by your credit card company. If there is damage in shipping or a defect in the product, it will be repaired or replaced at the store’s discretion. In the event that a return is authorized for any reason a cancellation fee will be charged for 25% of the total purchase amount and any refunded amount will be in the form of a store credit.  Special Orders generally take three (3) to eight (8) weeks, however, due to stock availability and shipping allow twelve (12) weeks for all ordered items.

ReturnCancellation Policy-Non Special Orders

Any return or cancellation requires Décor’s final authorization. If a return or cancellation is authorized by Décor, you must repackage the merchandise, in new condition, using the original wrap or box and return it to our store. Cost of any moving services performed at the time of delivery will not be refunded. These include drop off charges, or inside delivery and un-boxing services. In the event that a return is authorized for any reason a cancellation fee will be charged for 25% of the total purchase amount and any refunded amount will be in the form of a store credit.  Décor requires a 50% deposit to order you merchandise.

Any and all Mattresses, box springs, foundations, mattress products and Upholstered goods are not eligible for return after the customer has signed off on receipt of the goods or taken delivery or removed the items from the premises of the retail store.

30 Night Sleep Trial

To ensure maximum comfort, Décor’s 30 Night Sleep Trial applies only to premium mattress set purchases. Premium mattress set is defined as a Queen size set sold at $599 and up; a King size set sold at $799 and up. A mattress pad must be purchased from Décor for use with the mattress. The mattress set can be switched one time, additional cost may be incurred for mattress sets of greater value. Delivery fees are not covered in the 30 Night Sleep Trial.


Layaway Plan

Décor’s Layaway Plan is a five month plan and a payment must be made monthly. All Layaways are final, no refunds-no exchanges. Merchandise placed on layaway will be ordered when paid in full. For layaway purchases, stock guaranteed with the store for 60 days, items will be substituted after that time period. If a layaway is not paid in full within six months, all monies paid will be forfeited and the layaway will be cancelled. There is No Refund on Cancelled Layaways.
